Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is hiring a CT Technologist PRN to perform CT and general radiology exams with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will operate imaging systems, initiate IV contrast, and assist radiologists while maintaining sterile technique and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced CT registry or eligible with CT in 6–12 months.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and General Radiology exams (including plain film x‑rays) following protocols.
• Initiate IVs for contrast administration and use the power injector.
• Assist radiologist by providing patient history and exam details.
• Coordinate patient flow and document in Meditech, Synapse, Tele-Radiology, CD Burner, GE Workstation.
• Support ALARA principles and educate patients about procedures.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology

Current ARRT certification with advanced CT

1 year post-graduate experience preferred

BLS certification required
