Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography procedures under radiologist direction. You will operate CT equipment, verify diagnostic images, and prepare the room with needed supplies to support timely, high-quality scans.

Responsibilities include clerical and scheduling duties, inventory management, and potential supervision of students. ARRT and SCRQSA certification on hire, BLS from AHA/ARC within 30 days, and CT registry preferred

Qualifications

ARRT required upon hire.
SCRQSA required upon hire.
BLS – Healthcare provider on hire or within 30 days of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
CT registry preferred, but not required, within 6 months of departmental orientation completion date, at which point SCRQSA ARRT will be obtained.

Responsibilities

Perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist.
Operate diagnostic CT equipment and verify images.
Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for CT procedures.
Assist in the imaging department's daily workflow and patient transport as needed.
Potentially supervise students as directed by area supervisor.
