Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision. You will deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort across all age groups.

Requirements include AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accreditation, ARRT certification, and BLS. Preference for at least 6 months of radiology experience and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified. Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Ensure adherence to prescribed standards and maintain patient safety during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
