Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in a fast-paced imaging department.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited program, hold ARRT certification, and be registered with ARRT. BLS is required; preferred 6 months of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified. Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
