Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine radiographs and advanced procedures under radiologist supervision for full-time night shifts with call. The role emphasizes independent judgment in ionizing radiation use to obtain diagnostic images, with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration within a busy radiology team.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration or eligibility, Florida license, and CPR/BLS certification, plus strong

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Acute care experience preferred, although new graduates will be considered.
• Preferably registered by and in good standing with the ARRT.
• State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures.
• Follows the principles and guidelines as set forth by the American College of Radiology.
• Other duties as assigned.
