Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• MA Rad Tech-Computed Tomography license/registration required; ARRT certification required; BLS certification required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• New hires have 30 days to provide BLS certification with AHA.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and positions patients for CT scans and sets up equipment.
• Enters instructions into terminal for scan procedures and monitors performance.
• Evaluates scan results for quality and completeness; selects image display options.
• Provides research support and performs QA tests on equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains proper infection control.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures networked transfer of exams (PACS, AW, Vitrea).
• Maintains daily room checks, code cart compliance, and inventory; documents incidents.

Kenntnisse

Radiology license/registration

ARRT certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)

1-3 years experience
