Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a CT Technologist 2 to operate CT scanners, perform quality assurance, and support radiologists with imaging studies in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology and relevant licenses, with 1–3 years of CT experience. Candidates must be proficient with PACS and medical imaging software, and able to explain procedures clearly to patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• MA Rad Tech license/Registration and ARRT certification plus BLS required.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• New hires must provide BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans and set up equipment.
• Enter instructions into terminal and monitor scan data.
• Evaluate scan results and adjust display options; support radiologists.
• Instruct patients, explain procedures, and maintain hygiene.
• Maintain records and network exams to PACS/AW/Vitrea workstations.
• Perform QA tests and manage inventory and incident reporting.
