Job summary

A healthcare provider in Atlanta is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations and provide patient care across all age groups. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Radiologic Technology, at least one year of CT experience, and necessary certifications including BLS and ARRT in Computed Tomography. Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year of CT experience.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).

• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under the guidance of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross‑sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1 year of CT experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).
Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
