Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide high-quality patient care across all age groups using state-of-the-art CT equipment.

Minimum requirements include AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training and at least 1 year of radiology experience; ARRT CT certification is preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist; if less than one year, must have ARRT CT certification.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) or CT certification; CT registrants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to prescribed standards under supervision.
• Provide patient care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. #IND789 #GD

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist. If less than one year as Radiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R). If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred. BLS certified. Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
