Job summary

Tower Health's Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform routine direct patient care, observe patients, report changes, and assist with daily living activities and basic tasks.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy and point-of-care testing (POCT), ensuring patient safety and comfort, and following established policies.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Experience

• Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required for employment.

Certification and Licensure
