Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Evansville, IN, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology department. The position involves patient positioning, image acquisition, contrast administration, and monitoring during procedures.

You will ensure safety and protocol adherence in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires ARRT/NMTCB eligible credentials, BLS, and relevant education; a commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.

Qualificações

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; accepted by AHA or ARC.
• One or more of the following credentials: NMTCB, ARRT Radiography, or ARRT CT; Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and monitors for abnormal activity, updates protocols as needed.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following:
• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
