Job summary

Ridgeview Imaging in Minnesota seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures. You will interact with patients and staff to ensure safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Radiologists, maintaining equipment, and assisting with IV access as needed. Minimum education includes an accredited Radiology program with ARRT registration and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
• Registered by the ARRT and CPR certified (as listed in Licenses/Certifications).

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Functions

• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.

• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray and CT scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certifications

• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified
