Job summary

Ridgeview Imaging seeks a qualified radiology professional to perform diagnostic x-rays and interventional radiology exams following established procedures.

The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and collaboration with Radiology staff across Ridgeview Imaging locations. You must complete training, maintain ARRT certification, and uphold professional standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen in X-ray and IR.
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
• Ability to communicate in English for effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, providers, and staff to ensure safety and courtesy.
• Produce high quality diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assist with equipment maintenance for patient safety and proper operation.
• Review cases with Radiologist to ensure data accuracy.
• Demonstrate room and equipment cleaning between patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and Interventional Radiology exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen in X-ray and IR
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations

License/Certifications

• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified
