Job summary

Ridgeview Imaging in Minnesota is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic CT exams in accordance with established procedures. This position emphasizes patient safety and collaboration with radiologists.

Evening shifts 12:30-9pm or 2:30pm-11pm, with a $7,000 sign-on bonus. Training is provided; ARRT certification and CPR are required; AMA-accredited radiology education is preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology.
• Meets basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
• Will train!

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff to ensure safety.
• Produce high quality and accurate diagnostic CT exams.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Review cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data.
• Perform intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrate room and equipment cleaning between patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic CT exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic CT exams.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
• Will train!

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on CT scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certifications

• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified
