Job summary

Ridgeview Imaging in Minnesota seeks a part-time Radiology Technologist. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and interventional exams, ensuring patient safety and accuracy.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, maintain equipment, and contribute to a smooth imaging workflow across Ridgeview locations. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology program and ability to meet ACR accreditation basics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Meets basic requirements for ACR accreditation.
• Ability to communicate in English for written and verbal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams.
• Interact with patients, providers and staff professionally and safely.
• Assist with equipment maintenance to ensure safety and function.
• Review cases with Radiologist for data accuracy.
• Possibly perform intravenous access when needed.

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.

Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.

Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.

Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.

Performs intravenous access technique as needed.

Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray and CT scans

Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions

Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner

Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications

Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations

Ability to work autonomously and as a team

Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills

Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations

Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
