Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota is seeking a radiology professional to perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging across Ridgeview Imaging locations. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiology program and ARRT RT registration, with strong computer and patient-care skills.

You will work in a collaborative team, ensure patient safety, and participate in equipment maintenance and safety protocols while delivering accurate imaging data.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Registered by the ARRT in RT, required.
• Strong computer and basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic X-rays and CT scans.
• Interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Assist with equipment maintenance for safety and reliability.
• Review cases with Radiologist for data accuracy.
• Maintain room and equipment cleanliness between patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and Computerized Tomography (CT) scans in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

1. Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
2. Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and CT Scans.
3. Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
4. Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
5. Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Registered by the ARRT in RT

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certifications
