Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic X-ray and interventional radiology exams. The role requires collaboration with radiologists and maintenance of equipment, while ensuring patient safety and accurate data capture.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Radiology program, ARRT certified, and able to communicate effectively in English. A sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Meet basic requirements for ARRT accreditation.
• Ability to communicate in English for written and verbal tasks.
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic x-rays and IR exams as prescribed.
• Interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff to ensure safety.
• Assist with equipment maintenance for patient safety and operation.
• Review radiology cases with Radiologist for data accuracy.
• Maintain room and equipment cleaning between patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and Interventional Radiology exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

1. 
   
   Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
   
   
2. 
   
   Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-ray and interventional exams.
   
   
3. 
   
   Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
   
   
4. 
   
   Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
   
   
5. 
   
   Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
   
   
6. 
   
   Performs other duties as assigned.
   
   

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• 
  
  Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen in X-ray and IR

  Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

  Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation

  Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
