Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to support the Radiology Department in our metro Cleveland area facility. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient care for both inpatients and outpatients.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS certification. Cross-training and a focus on patient safety are emphasized in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operate with on-the-spot critical thinking and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT Team.
