Job summary

MetroHealth radiology department is seeking a CT Technologist to join a team serving trauma, stroke and cancer patients in Northeast Ohio. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients with minimal supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, CT credential (or within one year), and Ohio radiographer license, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
