Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to join our team. You will operate the CT scanner, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years experience as RT (R).
• CT scan experience preferred.
• Registered RT (R) licensed in the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Operates the CT scanner to produce diagnostic images following department policy.
• Prepares patients, gathers clinical information, and explains procedures.
• Administers IV contrast per department protocol.
• Maintains and cleans work area and keeps logs up to date.
• Schedules patient flow and coordinates transport as needed.
• Types patient demographics into the computer system.
