Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at the MetroHealth Medical Center in the Greater Cleveland area. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.

This night-shift position offers 60 biweekly hours over 5x12hr shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with every-other Sunday on weekends. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available to external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work with the CT team under supervision and under stress.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT

Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

American Heart Association BLS Certification
