Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT procedures, manage digital images, and ensure patient safety. The role includes maintaining equipment, preparing rooms, and following radiology policies across multiple sites.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiology program, CMRT certification, and ARRT CT registry (preferred). Two years CT experience and an associate degree are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

• Graduate of accredited radiology program or equivalent.
• CMRT certification required; ARRT CT registry preferred.
• Two years CT experience preferred; associate degree or higher helpful.
• Competent in radiology safety, image quality, and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with minimal radiation exposure and maximum image quality.
• Positions patients, prepares the room, and operates CT equipment per protocol.
• Documents procedures in info systems and records STAT reads per policy.
• Maintains cleanliness and inventory; follows disinfection and QC guidelines.
