Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT procedures with patient safety and image quality at the forefront. The role includes operating CT equipment, managing digital images, and ensuring accurate documentation in our information systems.

The candidate should have a radiology technology program background, CT experience, and CMRT certification, with ARRT CT registry preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program or higher degree.
• Two years CT technologist experience preferred.
• CMRT certification required; ARRT CT registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with emphasis on image quality and minimal radiation exposure.
• Operate CT equipment and manage digital image data per policy.
• Obtain patient consent for contrast and collect relevant surgical history.
• Document procedures in information systems and report STAT reads per policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the lab; restock supplies as needed.
• Adhere to ACR QC requirements and internal guidelines.
