Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images across diverse patient populations. You will assist with CT-guided procedures, coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, and educate patients to keep them comfortable during examinations.

The role demands on-the-spot critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and within the CT team. A sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT credential or able to obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential and 1 year CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images across a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
