Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Cleveland. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Requires ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS. External applicants may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and cross-training opportunities. Join a team focused on trauma, stroke, and cancer care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
