Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist at Advocate Christ Medical Center in the CT department. The role involves performing computerized tomography procedures, obtaining patient history, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing for CT studies.

You will coordinate outpatient and inpatient exams, collaborate with radiologists and physicians, and participate in staff training and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in CT
• Associates of Certificate of Radiologic Technology
• 1 hour annually in stroke care

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all outpatient and inpatient CT exams and procedures across locations
• Communicate with ancillary departments and nursing to coordinate care
• Ensure proper billing and coding of CT procedures
• Perform CT procedures according to approved policies
• Develop and revise protocols to meet ACC and DNV standards
• Schedule department staff and manage cross-training
