Job summary

You will work with radiology teams to obtain high-quality cross-sectional images while adhering to regulatory standards and providing compassionate patient care throughout examinations.

Qualifications

• Oversees inventory of radiologic supplies and ensures radiologic equipment is in good working order.
• Adheres to hygiene and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operates head or body x-ray scanners to create cross-sectional CT images.
• Educates and prepares patients for examinations.
• Performs and provides treatments that follow state, federal and professional standards.
• Assists in ED and outpatient operations on shift and participates in staff scheduling and performance reviews.
• Provides patient care essential to procedures.
• Determines and sets technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients.
• Takes patient medical history before an exam.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
