Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CT technologist to produce cross-sectional images and support radiologists with high-quality CT imaging. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, and ensure image quality while adhering to ALARA standards.

The role requires ARRT accreditation, an associated degree in Diagnostic Radiology, and state licensure. CT certification is preferred. The team benefits from a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and ARRT registration.
• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Radiology.
• State licensure in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
