Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE is hiring a CT/MRI Technologist to perform CT and MRI scans with emphasis on image quality, safety, and patient care. The role requires operating advanced imaging equipment, patient positioning, and screen for contrast reactions while ensuring proper PACS workflow.

The position is full-time with regular hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and an on-call rotation, located at West Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years’ radiology experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and MRI scanners following safety procedures.
• Verify correct patient, site, positioning, and protocol per exam.
• Position patients and provide immobilization and support as needed.
• Administer contrast media when indicated and monitor for reactions.
• Send images to PACS and label them properly.
• Assist radiologist with image routing and reporting readiness.
• Ensure accurate charging for procedures and supplies.
