Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans with a focus on patient safety, positioning, and image quality. You will work full-time in the evening, with weekend day coverage at West Hospital.

The role involves administering contrast when indicated, coordinating with radiologists, and sending imaging to PACS. Applicants must be ARRT-certified in Radiography and MRI and CPR certified.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved, accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification required; BLS/CITI may be required in certain departments.

Responsabilidades

• Operates MRI scanner with attention to safety procedures and patient screening.
• Verifies correct patient, site, positioning, and scan protocols.
• Administers contrast when indicated and educates patients on procedures.
• Sends images to PACS and routes history to radiologist; ensures proper labeling.
• Participates in department improvement and patient care education.
