Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a CT & MRI Technologist to perform advanced CT and MRI scans, ensure imaging quality, and support patient care. The role includes safety procedures, contrast administration where indicated, and coordinating with radiologists and billing systems.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, producing high-quality images, and participating in improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved, accredited School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years' experience in radiology.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and MRI scanners and ensure safety procedures.
• Verify patient identity, site, positioning, and protocols for each scan.
• Position patients and use immobilization tools for CT/MRI.
• Administer contrast if indicated and educate patients on risks and aftercare.
• Send images to PACS and verify image quality.
• Route images and history to the radiologist for interpretation.
• Ensure correct charging for procedures and supplies.
• Participate in performance improvement and readiness activities.
• Provide patient care and education according to patient population.
