• One year of healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and CT/MRI procedures
• Set up rooms before procedures and clean rooms after procedures
• Report changes in patient condition or behavior
• Ensure patient modesty and comfort; assist with dressing changes and answer call lights
• Discharge patients to the appropriate destination
• Verify patient identification and create identification bands
• Assist with positioning, lifting, and transporting patients
• Prepare oral contrast, schedule scans, and monitor the queue
• Verify physician exam orders and initiate communication and inpatient flow
• Document patient history and pertinent information; enter exam data into the computer
• Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS when applicable
• Perform front desk administrative duties, answer phones, and maintain department files
• Operate equipment properly, report malfunctions, and complete documentation
• Assess patient readiness and learning needs
• Provide verbal or written instructions for tests, procedures, diagnoses, and discharge

• Weekend and weekday shift availability required
• Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
• Must follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• One year of healthcare experience preferred
