Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures. You will schedule, educate, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients in a fast-paced environment.

Required credentials include ARRT CT, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS. The role supports cross-training and offers a substantial sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedules and coordinates care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works independently and as part of the CT team.
