Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, preparing patients, and adapting procedures under radiologist direction. The role involves maintaining high-quality imaging, safety, and efficient patient flow across the Medical Imaging department.

Qualifications include ARRT CT and Radiography registrations, BLS, and an IEMA Radiologic Technologist license.

Qualifications

• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year - ARRT
• Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT
• BLS within 30 days - AHA
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA
• Education: Certificate of Completion - Radiologic Technology; Associate’s Degree in Related Field

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures accurately and completely per Medical Imaging standards.
• Exhibits competency in CT radiographic and specialized procedures.
• Adapts procedures when patient condition requires it or per radiologist request.
• Assists radiologist with invasive procedures and related tasks.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care throughout procedures.
• Ensures equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology

Associate’s Degree: Related Field

Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA

Registered CT technologist (ARRT)

Registered Radiography (R) - ARRT
