Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under the direction of a radiologist. The role requires ARRT CT registration, Radiography certification, and BLS.

The ideal candidate will adapt procedures to achieve diagnostic results, maintain equipment, ensure patient safety, and contribute to efficient patient flow within a busy Medical Imaging department.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year is required.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency for patients of all ages.
• Operates CT equipment and workstation following radiology department policies.
• Adapts routines as needed per patient condition under radiologist direction.
• Ensures patient safety, sterile technique, and proper accessioning of studies.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and proper inventory of supplies.
• Documents accurate pre/post procedure information and exam data in HIS STAR Radiology system.
• Communicates findings promptly to radiologists and supports timely reporting.

Education

Associate's Degree: Related Field

Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology

Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT

Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT

BLS within 30 days - AHA
