Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized examinations in CT, adapting procedures for diagnostic outcomes under radiologist direction. The role requires ARRT CT certification within 1 year, ARRT radiography registration, and BLS within 30 days, with IEMA licensure or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required within 1 year; ARRT registries listed in multiple lines.
• ARRT Radiography (R) registration required as applicable.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• IEMA radiologic licensure or equivalent considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures ensuring accurate and complete examinations.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and operates CT hardware/software.
• Demonstrates competency in CT radiographic and specialized procedures.
• Adapts procedures for patient condition under radiologist direction.
• Assists with invasive procedures, labs, catheter guidance, and scheduling.
• Ensures patient safety and follows QA/QC protocols.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and reports equipment issues.
• Documents exam data and patient information in HIS STAR Radiology system.
