Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology team. You will operate CT scanners, ensure imaging accuracy, and support patient safety and confidentiality under the CT Supervisor and Radiologist direction.

The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology and CT, Massachusetts licensure, and BLS certification, with a preference for candidates with 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience and CT exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ARRT registration in Radiology and CT.
• BLS with American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Diagnostic Radiology; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform CT exams per established policies and protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure correct exam is ordered.
• Administer iodinated contrast material via IV and manage venipuncture as needed.
• Perform data review, multi-plane reconstructions, and 3D reconstructions to ensure high-quality images.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation protection practices (Image Gently, Image Wisely).
• Coordinate outpatient workflow and verify orders; maintain department equipment.
• Communicate with radiologists and staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Maintain required documentation for billing and compliance; keep licensure and CEU credits current.
