Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and produce high-quality images for physicians under radiologist supervision. You will adhere to department policies, protect patient safety, and coordinate with the CT Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, obtaining clinical history, administering iodinated contrast when needed, and maintaining imaging and equipment with attention to safety standards and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ARRT registration in Radiology and CT.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following established policies and protocols with focus on patient needs and safety.
• Explain procedures, verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure appropriate exam per protocol.
• Administer iodinated contrast as needed and maintain venipuncture skills.
• Set up equipment, perform reconstructions (MPR/3D), review image quality, and ensure timely workflow.
• Maintain departmental equipment and coordinate with management/vendors to maximize uptime.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Current Massachusetts license in Radiology and CT (ARRT registered)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)
