Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Preferred advanced education in CT (CAT scan).
• One year diagnostic technology experience required.
• Preferred: One year of CT experience.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety and quality checks, including verifying exam orders.
• Complete CT examinations following established CT protocols.
• Enter examinations accurately with proper documentation and charges.
• Transmit and store images and data in PACS correctly.
• Maintain records and logs to monitor quality and safety.
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe, professional work environment.
• Manage supply and equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Transport and assist ambulatory patients as needed.
• Educate patients and families about the CT process.
• Communicate with the health care team using established handoff procedures.
• Provide and receive feedback to support teamwork and training.
• Minimize preventable harm and follow infection control protocols.
• Incorporate safety culture tools in daily practice and report near misses.
