Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans for ER, inpatients, and outpatients, ensuring ALARA and patient safety. Role requires accurate documentation, contrast handling, and image evaluation with RIS/PACS usage. On-call and holiday rotations included.

Mandatory ARRT licensure or eligibility, MA DPH license, and CT certification within 12 months; BLS required. Experience in trauma settings and proficiency with CT equipment preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/Registration: ARRT registered or registry eligible; MA DPH Radiation Control Program license in the practice area; CT certification within 12 months if not already certified.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information/history to perform exams.
• Document information related to IV/oral contrast in medical record and allergy details.
• Perform CT exams with high accuracy and quality control using RIS/PACS.
• Follow department protocols including post-processing and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain safety and ALARA principles and contribute to a collaborative team.
