Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans for ER, inpatients, and outpatients. You will document patient history, monitor contrast use, and ensure accuracy in RIS and PACS workflows.

The role emphasizes ALARA, adherence to department protocols, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. BLS and MA licensure are required, with CT certification within 12 months if not current.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; MA licensure required.
• CT certification within 12 months of employment if not current.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Experience in trauma setting preferred; RIS/PACS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information/history to perform exams.
• Document use of IV/oral contrast and allergy information.
• Perform CT exams with high accuracy and 100% RIS documentation.
• QC exams using PACS and confirm correct patient data.
• Follow ALARA principles and department protocols.
