Qualifications

• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by MA Department of Public Health Radiation Control Program; maintains licensure annually.
• CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents patient information/history to perform exams.
• Documents IV/oral contrast use and allergy information in the medical record.
• Performs CT exams with high accuracy and consistency.
• Uses RIS and PACS for exam documentation and post-processing.
• Complies with ALARA and department protocols; participates in quality improvement.
