Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required on hire or prior to start.
• Ability to perform CT procedures independently with radiation safety knowledge.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology training program; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, ensure patient identification, preparation, and confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize factors, and follow ALARA for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, manage radiation exposure, document activities.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and perform prescribed CT scans.
