Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. You will independently conduct or assist with CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and intervention.

The role emphasizes patient safety, protocol optimization, and adherence to ALARA principles while supporting interventional procedures and education of students and staff.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required on hire; new grads must obtain certification prior to starting.
• Completion of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment with adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for proper positioning and quality.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and educate/monitor students and healthcare staff.
• Ensure data archiving, transfer, and post-processing are properly managed.
