Job summary

Vetted Solutions CT Technologists perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment. They operate imaging equipment, prepare and administer medications and radiation per laws, and analyze imaging data while ensuring patient safety.

They identify patients, prepare exams, and apply ALARA principles to optimize imaging protocols. Additional duties include evaluating image quality, educating providers and students, and assisting with interventional

Qualifications

ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Ability to evaluate images, prepare patients, and work collaboratively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history.
Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.
Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
Assess image quality, verify data transfer, and assist in interventional procedures.
Educate and monitor healthcare staff and students, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
