Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging with a focus on safety and accurate data acquisition. You will work with licensed practitioners in CT and molecular imaging to support diagnosis and interventions.

The role involves preparing patients, applying imaging protocols, and ensuring high-quality results while maintaining confidentiality. Collaboration with students and healthcare staff is essential in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to starting.
• Advancement to level 2 and additional certifications required within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients, and prepare them for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform CT scans as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
