Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging for diverse patient populations within a busy radiology department. The role includes patient education, image acquisition, and assisting with CT-guided procedures. Strong collaboration with nurses and physicians is essential.

Requirements include ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification. Night shifts, 60 biweekly hours, and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures for inpatients and outpatients with accuracy and efficiency.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate scheduling for CT exams for inpatients and outpatients.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and safety standards under supervision.
