Job summary

Join the Radiology Department at MetroHealth in Northeast Ohio for CT Technologist duties including producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. This night-shift position requires ARRT certification, Ohio licensure, and BLS. Biweekly hours total 60 with 5x12-hr shifts, 7p–7a, every other Sunday, with a sign-on

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking and effective communication; work well under stress and with minimal supervision; contribute to CT team.
