Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio. This night shift role conducts CT imaging, coordinates with care teams, and supports CT-guided procedures to diagnose a wide range of conditions.

You will rotate 5x12 hour shifts every two weeks, with 7pm to 7am start times, some weekends and call requirements. The ideal candidate will hold ARRT CT credential, Ohio license and BLS, and be able to work independently or with the CT team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
