Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center's Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night-shift team in Cleveland, OH. The role supports CT imaging, biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations, with on-call responsibilities and cross-training opportunities.

The position requires ARRT certification, Ohio license, BLS, and a commitment to patient safety. Biweekly 60-hour schedule includes 5x12hr nights with every-other Sunday weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operates with on-the-spot critical thinking and communicates effectively under stress.
